Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Bellevue, WA seeks a high-impact Hardware Engineer to design world-class sortation centers and logistics systems. You will own projects end-to-end, leveraging automation, robotics, and advanced material handling to deliver cost-effective solutions.

You will work with a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment on green-field, brown-field, and retrofit projects across fulfillment networks, enabling scalable, high-visibility impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience with prototyping and implementation
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts for the sortation and transportation network
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions
• Manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with partners and executives
• Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects
• Develop and present a compelling business case with senior executives
