Job summary

Hyve Solutions, a TD Synnex company, is seeking a Hardware Engineer in Fremont, CA, responsible for configuring, validating, and optimizing data-center hardware. You will collaborate with Sales, Field Engineering, and Supply Chain to move concepts from design to scalable production.

The role demands 8–10+ years in hardware engineering, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. Occasional travel (5%+) is expected. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of hardware engineering experience.
• Experience with rack architecture, network gear, and power/cooling technologies.
• Willingness to travel (5%+ domestic/international).

Responsibilities

• Review and feedback on customers’ design and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Field Engineering on server, rack, and networking integration at the BOM level.
• Lead first article builds and manage production documentation (BOM validation, hardware optimization).
• Provide technical input to designers and teams to drive new ideas forward.
• Coordinate with Engineering, TPM, Supply Chain and Purchasing to transition from NPI to mass production.
