Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to own platform development for compute and GPU servers. You will lead bring-up and validation, shaping requirements and reviews from concept to production.

Work with OEM/ODM partners to ensure scalable, reliable cloud server platforms, and drive NPI from EVT to MP while debugging power, thermal, storage, networking, and manageability across HW/FW/SW domains.

Qualifications

• Senior hardware engineer with hands-on bring-up experience.
• Experience defining requirements, reviewing schematics/layouts, and guiding DFM.
• Proven ability to lead platform NPIs from EVT to MP and manage validation.
• Strong debugging skills across power, thermal, storage, networking, and manageability.

You will be at the forefront of the server lifecycle managing architecture, design for manufacturability, bring-up, validation, and release ensuring our platforms meet demanding performance, cost, and reliability targets.
