AMETEK in Troy, Ohio is seeking a Senior Engineer to support engineering and manufacturing with cross-functional teamwork across North America and international teams. You will guide and provide design support to keep operations running.

Key duties include working with production, supporting sales, evaluating product issues, ensuring compliance and creating documentation and ECN processes. The role requires travel 1–2 times per month and offers growth within AMETEK's global units.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in electronics compliance, hardware design, or document control.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.

Aufgaben

• Communicate with production teams to support supply chain, functional, and quality questions.
• Support sales and dealer application pre-sale questions.
• Evaluate reported product issues and design solutions to reduce warranty exposure and costs.
• Manage compliance projects including CE, UL, and California Energy Commission (CEC).
• Maintain documentation for engineering functions (ECN, new product release, MRP).
• Create and manage department processes including safety, testing, validation, compliance, and building needs.
• Create specifications, participate in design reviews, and test products for development of new products.
• Travel 1–2 times per month.
