Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead hardware design across analog, digital, and mixed-signal domains. You will contribute to concept definition, then drive manufacturing release while partnering with software, mechanical, and quality teams.

You will develop schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and documentation, perform simulations and validations, and support product certification and production transfers in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing analog, digital, or mixed-signal electronic systems.
• Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and design documentation.
• Strong understanding of signal conditioning and low-noise design.
• Familiar with manufacturing release processes and product verification.
• Embedded processors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, or SOM architectures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Be a results-oriented team player who delivers high-quality engineering solutions.
• Define system-level and hardware requirements for new product development.
• Design, develop, analyze, and document analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems.
• Create and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and docs using EDA tools.
• Conduct PCB layout reviews with signal integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC considerations.
• Perform circuit simulation, troubleshooting, and design validation with lab equipment.
• Build, integrate, debug, and validate electronic prototypes.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, and mechanical engineers across lifecycles.
