Job summary

Tutor Intelligence, Inc. seeks a seasoned Hardware Engineer to lead the technical development of our manufacturing systems. You will own hardware integration, bring-up, testing and reliability, working across hardware, software and manufacturing teams.

You will be on the production floor addressing difficult problems, establishing acceptance criteria and driving root-cause analysis to ensure scalable, high-quality robotic production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands-on hardware engineering experience designing, integrating, debugging and testing complex electromechanical systems.
• Experience taking hardware from engineering development through production ramp and repeatable manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware integration, debugging and test strategy for manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Software Engineering to review schematics and ensure manufacturability and reliability.
• Develop and implement automated test equipment and diagnostic tools to speed bring-up and FAT.
• Lead on-floor problem solving on production line and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Build and improve manufacturing processes, tooling and work instructions for consistent robot production.
