Job summary

Robust AI, a fast-growing startup shaping the future of robotics, seeks a manufacturing test engineer to design and deploy next-generation warehouse robotic tests. You will lead test development, collaborate with CM partners, and push for higher yield and reliability in a fast-paced startup environment.

We value hands-on problem solvers with strong software and hardware debugging skills, experience with SPC tools, and a passion for mechatronics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or production test engineering.
• Strong experience with test design and development.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, TestStand).
• Solid understanding of mechatronic systems.
• Experience with statistical analysis, yield monitoring, and SPC tools.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the specification, development, and validation of manufacturing tests
• Drive test yield improvement and defect reduction through test coverage, data analysis and root cause investigation
• Own test hardware and software from concept through production release and sustaining
• Develop test documentation including test plans and procedures; interface with contract manufacturers and vendors to ensure test capability, scalability, and consistency
• Communicate lessons learned to hardware and partner engineering teams to improve product manufacturability, quality, and reliability
