Job description

We’re a low-ego, collaborative team of curious problem-solvers, passionate about building well-crafted, innovative products. As an engineering-first, product-focused company, we work across a wide range of technical challenges—spanning RF, DSP, and automotive electronics—from high-performance engineering tools to consumer products found in brick-and-mortar stores.

We're looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer who shares our mindset: humble, thoughtful, and driven by curiosity and impact. In this role, you’ll lead hardware design efforts across the product lifecycle, from schematic capture and layout through validation and production. You’ll help shape and evolve our growing product families and play a key part in turning ambitious ideas into reliable, beautifully executed products.

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Love solving tough technical problems with a team that values clarity, creativity, and continuous learning
  • Enjoy working across disciplines and engaging openly with others to reach the best solution
  • Take ownership without ego, always focused on what's best for the product and the people using it

Success in this role requires strong critical thinking, deep technical expertise, and the ability to move seamlessly between big-picture strategy and hands-on execution. Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making are essential.

This is a meaningful opportunity to join a growing company in a pivotal role. If you’re looking to work with smart, kind people on challenging, high-impact projects—we’d love to hear from you.

This position is onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Salary Range: $110,000-$150,000 depending on experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design mixed-signal circuits using high-speed data converters, RFIC, and serial interfaces
  • Partner with team members to improve, edit, and maintain existing FPGA/SOC designs
  • Perform component selection, schematic capture, and layout for designs across a range of complexity
  • Own the fabrication and assembly handoffs with manufacturing partners for prototyping
  • Generate and maintain technical data, drawings, and engineering orders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, software, project management, sales, etc.) to develop product requirements, as well as through the project lifecycle
  • Conduct simulations, modeling, and testing to validate hardware performance
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and applicable regulations
  • Maintain component library and design standards

Qualifications

  • Prior professional hardware design experience
  • Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processing principles and embedded software
  • Experience with system integration and proof of concept prototype design
  • Experience using Altium Designer
  • Proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to successfully plan, execute, and deliver technical projects
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to work onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree from an accredited university or commensurate experience is preferred.
  • Full time, salaried position onsite in Cincinnati, OH
  • 6% 401k match, fully vested immediately
  • Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave
  • Health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plan are offered
