Job summary

1st Avenue Power is seeking a hands-on Hardware Design Engineer to design, build, and validate analog and digital circuitry for precision measurement instruments used in renewable energy systems. You’ll contribute across the full hardware development lifecycle, from schematic design to prototyping, lab testing, and production handover.

The role focuses on high-speed front ends, signal conditioning, and copper interfaces within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing analog and digital circuits.
• Schematic capture and layout in Altium or equivalent.
• Bench bench-testing with oscilloscopes, VNAs and signal generators.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design analog/digital circuits with high-speed front ends and signal conditioning.
• Create schematics and high-speed PCB layouts; ensure impedance matching.
• Support copper-based interfaces and diverse cable connections.
• Collaborate with firmware/software/mechanical teams in an agile setup.
• Document designs, BOMs, test reports, and participate in reviews.
