Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking an experienced Analog and Digital Hardware Design Engineer to develop reliability characterization platforms for power conversion ICs. The role focuses on designing power supply systems and unique architectures to validate new devices before release.

You will build accelerated life test circuits, work with IC design, product development, and reliability teams, and collaborate with suppliers to fabricate test boards while documenting procedures and designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in power electronics and hardware design.
• Experience with high-temperature accelerated life testing and reliability evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Design dynamic operating life test circuits for accelerated reliability testing of power conversion ICs.
• Develop modular test systems capable of operating in environmental chambers up to 95°C, with DUT temperatures up to 125°C.
• Interpret OTS and translate requirements into functional reliability test circuits.
• Work cross-functionally with IC design, product development, and reliability engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide hardware feedback to support development and qualification.
• Design and specify magnetic components for reliability stress-test platforms.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and manufacturing partners to fabricate test boards and components.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and optimize reliability test hardware and test methodologies.
• Document designs, test procedures, and operational specifications.
