Acclaim Technical Services seeks a Hardware Design Engineer, Level 3, in Annapolis Junction, MD, requiring a current TS/SCI w/ Poly. The role focuses on designing and testing ICs and hardware, plus firmware for DSPs, ASICs, and FPGAs, within a high-security environment.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in hardware design, FPGA/ASIC proficiency, and a relevant engineering degree or equal experience. This full-time position offers a robust benefits package and opportunities in the Engineering

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional hardware design experience.
• Proficiency with FPGA/ASIC technology.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and test new integrated circuits and hardware components for a wide variety of applications and research.
• Design, document, and develop firmware and other code for digital signal processors or programmable hardware devices such as ASICs and FPGAs.
• Analyze the function of existing integrated circuits and hardware components.
• Investigate COTS software protocols.
