Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional hardware design experience.
  • Strong hands-on with Altium Designer.

  • Experience with Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI).
  • Experience debugging complex electronic hardware.
  • Knowledge of video, networking, or high-speed interfaces.
  • Familiarity with FPGA and processor-based designs.
  • Soldering, board rework, and hands-on troubleshooting.

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join a technology‑focused engineering team developing advanced digital multimedia and high‑speed electronic solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hardware engineer who enjoys working across the full product development lifecycle—from schematic design and PCB development through prototype bring‑up, validation, troubleshooting, and production release.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Altium Designer, high‑speed digital design, mixed‑signal hardware, signal integrity, and power integrity, along with excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and own board‑level hardware design and development from concept through production.
  • Perform schematic capture and provide support for PCB layout and design optimization.
  • Conduct Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis for high‑speed designs.
  • Design and develop complex mixed‑signal and high‑speed digital hardware.
  • Support prototype assembly, board bring‑up, testing, validation, and debugging.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root‑cause analysis to identify and resolve design problems.
  • Participate in technical design reviews and collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including ECO/ECN changes, design specifications, and production release documentation.
  • Support hardware verification, qualification, and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, software, FPGA, mechanical, and other engineering teams throughout product development.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional hardware design experience.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Altium Designer.
  • Proven experience with high‑speed digital and mixed‑signal circuit design.
  • Strong understanding of PCB design, layout principles, and hardware development.
  • Experience with Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI).
  • Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex electronic hardware.
  • Knowledge of video, networking, or high‑speed communication interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of EE fundamentals, including digital and analog circuitry.
  • Familiarity with FPGA and processor‑based designs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis skills.
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform soldering, board rework, and hands‑on hardware troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Ansys HFSS, SIwave, HyperLynx, Sigrity, or ADS.
  • Experience developing products for medical, military, aerospace, broadcast, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of AV‑over‑IP, SDVoE, fiber‑optic communication, or digital multimedia technologies.
  • Familiarity with applicable industry and product compliance standards.
  • Experience managing hardware development projects and technical deliverables.
