Job summary

Jobtailor in Kentucky seeks an experienced electrical design lead to own automotive ECU development from concept to production. You will collaborate with mechanical and production teams to craft design proposals and work with suppliers to identify viable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in automotive ECU design and development.
• 3+ years in driveline control or suspension control or BMS design.
• BS Electrical Engineering or 5-year technical degree with equivalent industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of 12V automotive electrical systems.
• Familiarity with power electronics topologies including H-bridge and BLDC control.
• Basic understanding of ADC signal chains.
• Familiarity with CAN, SPI, and SENT interfaces.
• Experience with power dissipation analysis and hardware reliability testing.
• Understanding of driveline control systems and battery management.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
