Job summary

Teradyne is seeking an Engineering Project Manager in Agoura Hills, CA to lead complex hardware and ASIC development programs across engineering, operations, manufacturing, and external partners. You will manage milestones and drive successful product releases in a fast-paced, global setting.

The role requires 8+ years in technical project management, collaboration with external partners, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering OR equivalent experience.
8+ years of Technical Project Management and Product Development experience.
Experience managing ASIC, semiconductor, FPGA, or complex hardware development programs.
Familiarity with semiconductor development processes, including design, verification, tape-out, validation, and production ramp.
Experience working with external technology partners, suppliers, or manufacturing partners.
PMI PMP Certification preferred.
Experience managing team in multiple geographic locations.
Experience influencing and leading without direct authority.
Initiative-taking, accountable individual with strong commitment to meeting goals.
PM background in multi-functional project environments.
Training in Project Management with emphasis on project structure and processes.
Extensive knowledge in at least one major discipline such as Engineering, Operations, and Marketing.
Versatile interpersonal and communications skills with ability to adapt to audiences.
Strong problem-solving leadership and decision-making.
Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project Scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

Lead complex hardware and ASIC development programs with cross-functional teams.
Track milestones from requirements definition, design reviews, silicon tape-out, validation, qualification, and product release.
Deliver business results by aligning product strategy with go-to-market plans and difficult trade-offs.
Develop and monitor project plans, escalate issues, and drive timely resolutions with stakeholders.
Lead and participate in project/phase-gate reviews and communicate clearly with Sponsors.
