Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a senior hardware architecture leader in Auburn Hills, MI to shape next-generation compute platforms for IVI/Central and Zones. You will drive architecture decisions, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure security, performance, and reliability in a scalable system.

Bachelor's plus 8 years in architectural roles are required, with strong ARM and infotainment domain knowledge. You will collaborate across Software, Systems, Purchasing, Safety, Cyber-Security, and Product teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronic, Compute, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent program.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in an architectural hardware/system role.
• Profound knowledge of state-of-the-art hardware systems, software tools and algorithms for interfaces required for sensors, actuators, firmware development, in-vehicle bus architectures, in-vehicle CPU/GPU/NPU computing platforms, image and audio signal processor, connectivity.
• Profound knowledge on ARM based architectures.
• Knowledge of Infotainment Systems and Zonal Architectures.

Responsibilities

• Drive HW architecture decisions for next Stellantis generation computing system/hardware architecture with scalable, reusable, cost-optimized solutions.
• Coach translating business requirements into platform architecture hardware, SoCs and components.
• Drive design, development, and analysis of platform architecture to meet performance, scalability, reliability and security requirements.
• Lead concept design, prototyping, engineering, testing, release and launch of a cutting-edge compute platform for IVI/Central and Zones.
• Collaborate with Software, Systems, Purchasing, Functional Safety, Cyber-Security, Product Managers to enable Compute Technology Roadmap.
• Establish silicon supplier relationships to understand portfolio, performance, supply chain and roadmaps.
• Drive technical reviews with Tier1 & Tier2 suppliers on performance requirements and manufacturing processes.
• Develop performance specifications for computing platform based on target SoCs to enable sourcing aligned with vehicle timing.
• Lead internal design reviews, assessments, and design securitization activities as needed.
