Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn, Alabama seeks a strategic Head of Semiconductor Engineering to lead the semiconductor strategy across Stellantis vehicle platforms. You will manage a cross‑functional team, forge and maintain technical partnerships with semiconductor suppliers, and drive MCU/MPU/SoC, sensors, memory, and power IC roadmap definitions to deliver hardware platforms aligned with software-defined vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years in hardware design or electrical engineering roles.
• Minimum 8 years in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience in people management across global regions.
• Track record of delivering business and technology results for complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Hands-on experience in complex (SoC, MCU, MPU, Memory, Connectivity, etc) semiconductor development, engineering or/and manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of the most recent MPU/MCU/SOC architecture and compute trade-offs.
• Familiar with the products of major chipset manufacturers for the automotive industry.
• Advanced understanding of RTOS, I/O drivers and micro-controllers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage semiconductor strategy development across Stellantis platforms.
• Define and support integration of main semiconductors used in ECUs.
• Guide hardware teams in design and roadmap for semiconductor technology.
• Establish capabilities to enhance HW development control.
• Develop relationships with product peers, engineering teams and suppliers.
• Lead governance decisions with stakeholders to meet business goals.
• Drive early life cycle delivery through agile approaches.
• Collaborate with external partners for semiconductor design.
• Mentor and supervise engineers, contractors, interns.
• Recruitment of personnel and team development.
• Foster collaboration, diversity and inclusion.
