The position demands 15-20+ years in hardware engineering, a strong background in electronics and systems, and a proven ability to deliver reliable, manufacturable hardware on schedule.

Qualifications

• 15-20+ years of hardware engineering experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
• Expert-level understanding of electronic components, circuitry, mechanical systems, optical systems or DSP technologies.
• Experience leading hardware design initiatives from concept through validation and release.
• Strong ability to perform feasibility analysis, material evaluation, system modeling and design optimization.
• Proven track record directing validation activities and establishing performance standards.
• Effective cross-functional communication and thorough technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and optimization of advanced hardware systems to meet performance and manufacturability goals.
• Direct validation testing, evaluate results and establish qualification criteria for hardware systems.
• Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation and procedures across teams.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design issues and guide project execution.
