Job summary

Celestica is seeking a technical lead for hardware design, development, and implementation of AI data center solutions. You will be the lead technical contact for customer-specific designs from proposal to implementation, driving strategies and best practices, and creating unique solutions to difficult problems.

The role requires leading architecture ideation, end-to-end system design, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality hardware products for the data

Qualifications

• 8+ years in hardware design with progressive leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in compute hardware architectures across datacenter contexts.
• Hands-on mastery of GPUs, Ethernet switches, x86, and storage tech.
• Experience with high-power, density-constrained GPU systems and liquid cooling.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead ideation and concept design for next-gen hardware architectures for AI data centers.
• Architect complex hardware systems and provide strategic direction for datacenter planning.
• Collaborate with tech leads and PMs to define a technology roadmap emphasizing innovation.
• Analyze compute industry trends and steer strategic direction for new initiatives.
• Serve as SME and mentor teams across Hardware Product Solutions.
• Select components to optimize design and cost for market adoption.
• Review new technologies and present results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Engage with strategic customers to align hardware designs with their needs.
