Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Sr Manager for GxP Training Instructional Design to lead the creation of compliant learning materials and curricula. You will collaborate with governance to drive knowledge transfer and maintain fit-for-purpose curriculum across the GxP spectrum.

The role emphasizes designing practical, engaging solutions that are accurate, accessible, and aligned with Amgen policies and standards, ensuring audit-ready documentation and effective knowledge transfer across the organization.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or higher with training experience (2 years)
• Master’s degree plus 6 years training experience
• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years training experience
• Associate’s degree plus 10 years training experience
• High school diploma plus 12 years training experience
• Minimum 2 years directly managing people or leading teams, projects, or programs

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, blended-learning, and performance-support materials.
• Partner with subject-matter experts to define learning objectives and translate complex content into effective learning solutions.
• Create and maintain curricula, course outlines, facilitator guides, participant materials, e-learning modules, job aids, assessments, and evaluation tools.
• Apply adult-learning principles, accessibility practices, and assessment standards.
• Ensure materials meet regulatory, quality, document-control, and audit-readiness requirements.
• Review learner feedback and performance data to improve learning effectiveness.
• Support learning-process transformation by implementing improved tools, standards, workflows, governance, and processes.
