Job summary

FormativGroup seeks a hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer in the United States to support configuration, development, integration, and delivery of PolicyCenter solutions for Property & Casualty clients.

This hybrid role involves collaboration with onsite coordinators, client stakeholders, and project teams to deliver scalable Guidewire solutions and maintain high-quality documentation and testing practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration experience.
• Strong Property & Casualty insurance knowledge (Personal/Commercial Lines).
• Valid, active Guidewire certifications preferred.
• Experience with Java, XML, Web Services, SQL, and integration concepts.

Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, and support PolicyCenter solutions across projects.
• Work across PolicyCenter configuration, product model updates, business rules, workflows, integrations, and extensions.
• Support Property & Casualty solutions across Personal Lines or Commercial Lines products.
• Collaborate with onsite coordinators, project teams, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and delivery needs.
• Contribute to project deliverables, technical documentation, configuration updates, testing support, and issue resolution.
• Support enterprise system integrations using Java, XML, web services, SQL, messaging platforms.
• Troubleshoot configuration, integration, and environment issues across workstreams.
• Apply software development best practices to ensure quality, maintainability, performance, and stability.
• Support Guidewire Cloud implementation activities and Advanced Product Designer configurations when applicable.
• Participate in project status discussions and client-facing sessions; travel as needed.
