Job summary

FormativGroup is seeking a hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer to deliver configuration, integration, and delivery support for Property & Casualty clients. You will work across Personal Lines and Commercial Lines, updating product models, troubleshooting, and documenting work, with client-facing collaboration and occasional travel.

The role requires 6–8+ years of Guidewire experience, strong Java/XML skills, and active Guidewire certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance (Personal/Commercial lines).
• Valid Guidewire certifications highly preferred.
• Experience with Java, XML, Web Services, SQL, and enterprise integrations.
• BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, and support PolicyCenter solutions across projects.
• Work across PolicyCenter configuration, rule work, workflows, integrations.
• Support Personal & Commercial Lines insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify needs and support delivery.
• Contribute to documentation, testing support, and issue resolution.
• Support enterprise integrations using Java, XML, web services, SQL.
• Troubleshoot configuration, integration, and environment issues.
• Apply best practices for quality, maintainability, and performance.
