Shure Incorporated in Niles, IL is seeking a Senior Engineer for Audio Electronics Design to independently drive hardware and embedded solutions for professional audio products. You will work across analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal domains, from architecture through verification and documentation.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration with hardware, software, acoustics, and manufacturing teams. Onsite in Niles, IL.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to independently design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot complex electronic or embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of analog, digital, power, mixed-signal and embedded circuit design.
• Experience with schematic capture, PCB development, lab testing, and circuit simulation.
• Programming in C/C++/Python for embedded development and data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Independently design, simulate, prototype, test, and troubleshoot analog, digital, power, mixed-signal and embedded systems.
• Develop PCB assemblies including schematic design, layout, bring-up, and verification.
• Develop embedded software, scripts, and tools for prototyping, testing, and data collection.
• Contribute to system architecture and make design decisions across hardware and software.
• Lead prototype builds and proof-of-concept systems to evaluate technologies.
