Trident Systems is seeking a Senior Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and evolution of software platforms controlling automated test and support systems. You will define core architecture, establish reusable frameworks, and drive reliable, scalable software across programs.

The ideal candidate has deep Python expertise, asynchronous programming skills, and a strong background in hardware communication and software architecture.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or 4+ years with a graduate degree.
• Extensive professional experience developing software in Python.
• Experience communicating with hardware devices (instruments, controllers, embedded systems).

Responsabilidades

• Define the overarching GSE software platform architecture and standards.
• Design scalable asynchronous software architectures for concurrent control of instruments and support equipment.
• Lead the development of reusable Python frameworks underpinning automated GSE and test systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the GSE platform meets engineering needs.
