Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking an Airport GSE Maintenance Tech for the RDU area. This full-time non-exempt role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining ground support equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5+ years in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance, strong wiring diagram and hydraulic schematic skills, and the ability to work a mix of day and evening shifts with opportunities for growth and FAA-compliant safety training.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to independently diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Strong proficiency with diagnostic tools including multi-meters, scan tools, pressure gauges, and electrical testing equipment.
• Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems across all GSE types.
• Complete complex repairs including engine work, hydraulic system rebuilds, electrical harness repairs, brake system overhauls, and major component replacements.
• Interpret OEM manuals, wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and diagnostic flowcharts.
• Document all work performed using the CMMS and ensure repairs meet OEM and safety standards.
