Job summary

Upgrade, Inc. is seeking a Principal Product Manager to drive the next growth phase for our Personal Loans business. You will identify high-impact opportunities across the customer journey and lead cross-functional teams from strategy through execution.

This hybrid role is based in San Francisco, CA or Wilmington, DE, with onsite work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in product management, a strong analytical mindset, and a track record in consumer fintech.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience at senior or principal level.
• Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and translate ambiguous problems into clear product strategies, prioritized roadmaps, and successful products.
• Strong analytical and commercial instincts with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the growth product strategy for Personal Loans.
• Develop deep understanding of the Personal Loans funnel, customer behavior, acquisition channels, and key drivers of performance.
• Identify, size, and prioritize new growth opportunities, including new loan programs and partnerships.
• Partner with Marketing to align product strategy with acquisition and lifecycle marketing.
• Collaborate with Partnerships to test distribution opportunities and optimize performance.
• Work with Risk, Credit, Finance, and Analytics to evaluate economics and profitability.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch and iterate based on data.
