Job summary

Splice is seeking a Senior Product Designer II for a fully remote role in the US. You’ll lead growth-oriented design across onboarding, subscriptions, and retention, partnering with our Growth Principal Designer to shape what gets built and drive measurable outcomes.

You will push for rigorous experimentation, articulate clear design questions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to move metrics and build scalable design systems. Experience with AI-native tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience, especially in growth, conversion, or retention.
• A portfolio demonstrating refined visual and interaction design at scale.
• Experience using AI-native tools (Cursor, Claude) as part of design workflow.
• Fluency with A/B testing and experimentation.
• Ability to map and improve conversion funnels and retention.
• Strong design systems practices and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to present work clearly from concept to leadership review.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality design across the full growth scope: onboarding, subscription and paywall experiences, referral programs, core site, and lifecycle moments.
• Partner with the Principal Designer on Growth to shape what gets built and influence product decisions.
• Drive rigorous experimentation: frame hypotheses, design variants, interpret results.
• Ship work that moves metrics: onboarding completion, conversion, and retention improvements.
• Collaborate with Marketing, PMs, engineers, and data scientists to accelerate shipping.
• Contribute to the design system and build scalable components.
• Leverage AI-native tools daily to prototype directions and accelerate execution.
