Duolingo seeks a Senior Data Scientist for Growth Forecasting to advance user growth models across its product portfolio. You will partner with Growth Data Science, Product, Finance, and Strategy to deliver quarterly forecasts rooted in rigorous analysis and real-world dynamics.

You will mentor junior data scientists, translate complex results into actionable leadership guidance, and build scalable forecasting processes that are repeatable and trustworthy.

Qualifications

• Strong command of SQL, Python, AI analysis tools, and data/analytics engineering ecosystems.
• Graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• Ability to translate technical results into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Forecast growth quarterly with robust, trustworthy methods and repeatable processes.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Strategy to align forecasts with business priorities.
• Mentor junior data scientists and translate complex analytics for leadership.
