Job summary

Duolingo seeks a Data Scientist embedded with product development teams to accelerate data-driven product iteration and experimentation. You will translate findings into actionable insights for leadership and build scalable data products and models as needed.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Finance, own ROI assessment, and mentor others within Growth. Strong SQL/Python/R and ML fluency required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Scientist embedded with a product development team.
• Graduate degree in a quantitative field or equivalent expertise.
• Strong communication to distill insights for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Embed within product teams to deliver data products and analyses.
• Collaborate across PM, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Finance.
• Own prioritization and ROI assessment of Data Science opportunities.
• Translate findings into clear narratives for leadership and partners.
• Develop self-serve dashboards and analytics foundations.
• Mentor other Data Scientists within Growth and beyond.
