Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a skilled group underwriter to independently underwrite challenging group insurance applications. The role offers flexible work location with 100% remote work or hybrid options at major office locations.

You will train lower-level underwriters, assess risk, pricing and funding methods, and coordinate proposals, renewals, and amendments while maintaining client relationships. A strong analytical mindset and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4-6 years Stop Loss underwriting experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrites independently the more difficult group insurance applications within guidelines.
• Approve cases up to 5,000 lives.
• Provide training and guidance to lower-level group underwriters.
• Evaluate risk for complex group insurance products.
• Analyze financial condition and client variables to determine benefits and rates.
• Ensure proper pricing and funding methods.
• Review cases exceeding underwriter review level.
• Contribute to profitability through experience and expense analysis.
