Job summary

You will produce and audit rate renewals, rate filing worksheets, and exhibits for moderately to very complex accounts, answer complex underwriting questions, provide consultation to Account Management and Sales, and support the Account Planning process with data, reports,

Qualifications

• Prepare and audit financial reports and rate filings using guidelines and templates.
• Provide consultation on statistical and financial reports to Account Management and Sales.

Responsibilities

• Accurately calculate and analyze employer group rates using historical utilization to ensure accuracy and identify anomalies that justify an adjustment.
• Produce and audit rate renewals, rate filing worksheets, and exhibits for moderately complex to very complex accounts using pre-established guidelines and templates; perform additional research on issues outside guidelines.
• Answer complex underwriting questions from accounts and Marketing Department on rate renewal calculations and various financial arrangements; provide consultation to Account Management and Sales to assist in rate renewal process.
• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile monthly billings for self-insured accounts; answer moderately complex to complex underwriting questions from Account Management and Sales on statistical and financial reports.
• Produce and audit data to support the Account Planning process; analyze and prepare rate proposals for prospective accounts; may accompany Account Management and Sales staff to client meetings.
• Update and maintain rating and reporting system; research and resolve data problems; identify, research, track, and report paid/unpaid case amounts; prepare monthly recovery reports and support reinsurance audits and renewal submissions.
• Deliver training and coaching to underwriting colleagues; participate in special projects; perform other duties as directed.
