Kimpton Hotel Monaco Seattle is seeking a Group Sales Manager to lead the local and regional market, building relationships, driving group business, and delivering the distinctive Kimpton experience.

You will own markets, pursue opportunities, and convert initial conversations into long-term partnerships while meeting revenue goals and providing exceptional guest experiences in a high-energy setting.

Qualifications

• Sales management experience, ideally in the Seattle market.
• Hotel sales experience in upper upscale hotels preferred.
• Proven selling and negotiation skills, including prospecting (required).
• Excellent organization and task management with multi-tasking ability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivation to spot new business opportunities and build lasting customer loyalty.
• Comfort and confidence in a high-energy, service-oriented environment.

Responsabilités

• Drive Revenue & Hit Your Goals: achieve or exceed quarterly pace and production goals for assigned markets.
• Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat group business to maximize room revenue and meet goals.
• Meet weekly sales activity minimums and track status in Delphi.
• Build proposals and negotiate contracts that are fair and profitable.
• Find New Business: prospect, network, and follow up on leads to keep pipeline full.
• Attend trade shows and travel regionally for in-person sales calls and presentations.
• Bring the Hotel to Life: conduct site inspections and host fam trips for planners.
• Deliver polished sales presentations to clients and ownership, using latest tech.
• Build Relationships & Visibility: strengthen key accounts and partnerships to grow market share.
• Plan with Purpose: create and execute marketing action plans for markets.
