Sonesta International Hotels in Bee Cave, TX is seeking a Senior Group Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the hotel as the preferred choice for SMERF group clients. You’ll collaborate with Revenue Management, Operations, Marketing, and Front Office to align strategies, while leading proactive sales efforts, site visits, and networking to exceed targets.

Occasional travel and on-site presence required.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel sales or group sales experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local SMERF market and sales strategies.
• Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive hotel revenue growth through proactive sales efforts focused on the SMERF group market.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, third-party partners, and local organizations.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities through networking and site visits.
• Partner with Revenue Management, Operations, Marketing, and Front Office to align commercial strategies.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct hotel site tours, client meetings, and networking events to promote the property.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, revenue forecasting, and pipeline reporting in CRM.
• Support group, meeting, catering, corporate and event sales opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Achieve and exceed sales goals, revenue targets, and account production expectations.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and travel functions as needed.
• Foster a collaborative, energetic culture aligned with Sonesta’s People People philosophy.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
