Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Group Product Manager for Core Infrastructure & Reliability to own the vision and multi-year strategy for the company’s cloud infrastructure.

You will drive design, operation, and scaling across compute and networking to support hundreds of billions in annual transaction volume. You will partner with Engineering, SRE, Security, and Finance to ensure reliability, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance across environments and regions, while enabling self-serve

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in cloud infrastructure or reliability at scale.
• Proven track record defining multi-year infrastructure platform strategies with measurable improvements.
• Technical depth to engage with engineers on compute, networking, storage, Kubernetes, and multi-cloud design.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in regulated, high-trust environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Core Infrastructure across compute, networking, multi-region, multi-cloud, and platform reliability.
• Define platform-level SLOs, capacity planning, failover capabilities, and incident reduction targets for global uptime.
• Evaluate and adopt cloud infra tech (Kubernetes, service mesh, observability, IaC); balance build-vs-buy for cost and scalability.
• Align infra investments with business priorities; optimize cloud spend while meeting regulatory requirements.
• Shape how product and engineering teams consume infrastructure by building self-serve capabilities and improving developer experience.
• Translate infrastructure metrics into executive investment cases and cost optimization opportunities.
