Job summary

Coinbase seeks a Group Product Manager for Core Infrastructure & Reliability to own the product vision and multi-year strategy for cloud infrastructure. You will drive design, operation, and scaling of systems underpinning hundreds of billions of dollars in annual volume, partnering with Engineering, SRE, Security, and Finance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years focused on cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or infrastructure reliability at scale.
• Track record of defining and executing multi-year infrastructure platform strategies that improved reliability or cost efficiency.
• Technical depth to engage with engineers on compute, networking, storage, Kubernetes, multi-cloud architecture, and distributed systems design.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in regulated, high-trust environments.
• Ability to articulate infrastructure strategy, cost tradeoffs, and long-term platform bets to senior leadership.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Core Infrastructure across compute, networking, multi-region and multi-cloud architecture.
• Define and advance platform reliability programs, including SLOs, capacity planning, and incident reduction targets.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of cloud infra technologies (Kubernetes, service mesh, storage, observability, IaC).
• Align infra investments with business priorities, optimize cloud spend, ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Shape how teams consume infrastructure by building self-serve capabilities and improving developer experience.
• Translate infra metrics into executive-level investment cases and inform priority roadmaps.
