Qualifications

• Required~ Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Business, Computer Science or other quantitative analysis discipline
• Substitutions: 6 years relevant, progressive experience in the area of specialization
• Experience: Required~5 - 7 years' experience in underwriting of self-funded and converting fully insured prospects to self-funding

Responsibilities

• Renew accounts and write new business at profitable levels to meet targets.
• Utilize systems and tools to obtain data and complete assigned work.
• Calculate rates and interpret pricing policies for varied scenarios.
• Identify questionable claim patterns and adjust pricing accordingly.
• Apply corporate risk management policies to unusual situations.
• Support internal initiatives like fraud detection, compliance, wellness, and product development.
• Complete renewals and quotes, review analyst work, and adapt to changing priorities.
