Job summary

Cadmus seeks a senior-level specialist to provide program support on underground injection control, groundwater protection, and policy development for the EPA Office of Water. The role includes researching geologic settings, writing client deliverables, and providing logistical support for project staff.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in the natural sciences, understands UIC regulations, and is fluent in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a degree in natural sciences.
• Working understanding of Underground Injection Control regulations and EPA authority transfer.
• Fluency in MS Office applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of geology, structural geology & stratigraphy, or subsurface flow and transport.

Responsibilities

• Review geologic settings, site characterization, formation petrophysical properties, injection wells, and siting/operation of proposed subsurface injection projects.
• Conduct background research and literature reviews of subsurface processes and site-specific geologic investigations.
• Research and write high-quality deliverables for clients.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for Cadmus project staff.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, or in a team, as needed.
