Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a senior-level specialist to provide program support on underground injection control, groundwater protection, and policy development for the EPA's Office of Water. You will review geologic settings, characterization, injection wells, and related siting aspects for subsurface injection projects.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in natural sciences, strong MS Office skills, and clear written and oral communication.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant work experience in natural sciences (e.g., geology, geochemistry, or earth science).
Working understanding of Underground Injection Control regulations related to geologic sequestration wells and EPA oversight authority.
Fluency in MS Office applications.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of geology, structural geology and stratigraphy, or subsurface flow and transport.

Responsibilities

Review information related to geologic settings, site characterization, formation properties, injection wells, and siting/operation of subsurface injection projects.
Conduct background research and literature reviews of subsurface processes and site-specific investigations.
Research and write high-quality deliverables for clients.
Provide logistical and administrative support for Cadmus project staff.
Work independently with minimal supervision, or in a team, as needed.
