Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a senior-level specialist to support the EPA Office of Water on groundwater protection, policy development, and subsurface injection operations including carbon sequestration and deep well injection of wastes.

The role requires 10+ years in natural sciences, a geology-related degree, and strong MS Office and communication skills. Eligible to work in the United States is required, with benefits including medical, dental, vision and more.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in natural sciences (e.g., geology, geochemistry)
• Understanding of Underground Injection Control regulations related to geologic sequestration wells
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience researching and writing deliverables for clients

Responsibilities

• Review information related to geologic settings, site characterization, and injection wells
• Conduct background research and literature reviews on subsurface processes
• Draft high-quality deliverables for clients
• Provide logistical and administrative support for project staff
• Work independently or in a team as needed
