Cadmus is seeking a senior-level specialist to provide program support on underground injection control, groundwater protection, and policy development for the EPA Office of Water. You will contribute to policy and technical analyses related to carbon sequestration, deep well injection, and related regulatory issues.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience and Bachelor's or Master’s degree in natural sciences.
• Working understanding of Underground Injection Control regulations, particularly related to geologic sequestration wells and EPA primary enforcement/oversight authority to states.
• Fluency in MS Office applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of geology, structural geology and stratigraphy, or subsurface flow and transport

Responsibilities

• Review information related to geologic settings, geologic site characterization, formation petrophysical properties, injection wells, and other aspects of siting and operation of proposed subsurface injection projects.
• Conduct background research and literature reviews of subsurface processes and/or site-specific geologic investigations.
• Research and write high-quality deliverables for clients.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for Cadmus project staff.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, or in a team, as needed.
