Job summary

Water & Environmental Technologies (WET) seeks a Senior Groundwater Modeler to develop and apply conceptual and numerical groundwater models for mining, groundwater development, and remediation projects across the Rocky Mountain region and western United States. The role involves integrating field data, hydrogeologic information, GIS, and modeling outputs to deliver technically sound solutions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in geology, hydrogeology, geological engineering, environmental engineering, civil engineering, or related field.
• Master's or PhD in hydrogeology, geology, or geological engineering preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of groundwater modeling experience.
• Certifications: CHG, PG, or PE registered in applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Expand groundwater modeling capabilities with MODFLOW 6 and FloPy.
• Construct and calibrate 3D groundwater flow and contaminant transport models.
• Synthesize field data and GIS for robust CSMs.
• Prepare technical reports for clients and regulators.
• Support business development with technical proposals.
• Coordinate field investigations and QA/QC documents.
