Job summary

Water & Environmental Technologies (WET) is seeking a Senior Groundwater Modeler to support groundwater, mine permitting, hydrogeologic, environmental remediation, and water‑resource projects across the Rocky Mountain region and western United States.

Responsibilities include developing conceptual and numerical groundwater models, integrating field data, GIS data, and hydrogeologic information to deliver technically sound solutions for clients. Remote options available; Montana base preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional groundwater modeling experience.
• Bachelor degree in geology or related field.
• Experience with MODFLOW suite and calibration tools.

Responsibilities

• Expand groundwater modeling capabilities with the team.
• Construct and calibrate 3D groundwater flow models.
• Synthesize hydrogeologic data for CSMs.
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations.
• Support field investigations and aquifer testing.
• Lead QA/QC of model documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and project managers.
