Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Hydrogeologist, Groundwater Modeler to lead investigations and develop conceptual site models for complex groundwater projects across our Midwest and other US offices.

You will perform data analysis, assist in contaminant fate and transport assessments, and coordinate client interactions, with a hybrid work schedule possible. A strong background in pumping tests and regulatory liaison is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or earth sciences (required).
• Advanced degree in the same field (preferred).
• Professional registration (P.E. or P.G.) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and oversight of hydrogeologic investigations and conceptual site models.
• Provide technical hydrogeological support for groundwater supply development and remediation sites.
• Characterize aquifers using pumping tests, down hole geophysics, and hydraulic profiling.
• Lead data analysis/visualization of site investigation data (tables, maps, figures).
• Support fate and transport modeling, natural attenuation evaluations, and risk assessment.
• Manage projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and client satisfaction.
