Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist, Groundwater Modeler to lead complex groundwater projects with a hybrid work option in the Midwest.

You will design hydrogeologic investigations, develop conceptual site models, and perform groundwater fate and transport analyses, while guiding data visualization and client communications. Required are 8+ years' experience (10+ preferred), a degree in engineering/geology, and professional licensure preferred; travel

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience developing and analyzing aquifer pumping tests.
• Proficiency in contaminant remediation and quantitative hydrogeology.
• Experience with high-resolution investigation methods (LIF, MIP, HPT) preferred.
• Familiarity with visualization tools (AutoCAD, ArcGIS, EVS) and groundwater flow models (MODFLOW/MT3D).

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee hydrogeologic investigations and conceptual site models.
• Lead data analysis and visualization of site investigation results.
• Support fate and transport modeling and risk assessment.
• Manage projects, budgets, schedules, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate meetings with clients, regulators, and contractors.
