Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist/Groundwater Modeler to join our Midwest offices in Ann Arbor, Milwaukee, and other locations.

The role focuses on advanced groundwater modeling, site investigations, and remediation strategies for complex contaminated sites. The position offers hybrid work options and the opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and engage with clients and regulators across multiple states.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience (10+ preferred)
• Experience with aquifer pumping tests
• Proficiency in contaminant remediation and quantitative hydrogeology
• Willingness to travel to client facilities as needed

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee hydrogeologic investigations and conceptual site models
• Provide technical hydrogeological support to groundwater supply development and remediation projects
• Characterize aquifers using pumping tests, downhole geophysics, and hydraulic profiling
• Lead data analysis and visualization of site investigation data with charts, maps, and figures
• Support fate and transport modeling, natural attenuation evaluations, and risk assessments
• Manage projects, budgets, schedules, and client communications
• Lead meetings with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders
• Prepare, review, and certify technical reports and proposals
• Lead business development and proposal efforts
• Coordinate contractor oversight on remediation projects
