Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist, Groundwater Modeler to lead advanced groundwater modeling and site assessment across multiple Midwest locations, including Ann Arbor, Columbus, Overland Park, Milwaukee, and St. Louis.

This role emphasizes innovative projects, contamination investigations, and client collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will design investigations, oversee models, supervise data analysis, and contribute to remediation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or earth sciences.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Professional licensure (P.E. or P.G.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversight of hydrogeologic investigations and conceptual site models.
• Provide technical hydrogeological support to groundwater supply projects, dewatering, and contaminated sites.
• Characterize aquifers using pumping tests, down hole geophysics and hydraulic profiling.
• Lead data analysis/visualization of site investigation data including tables, maps, figures.
• Support fate and transport modeling, natural attenuation evaluations, and risk assessment.
• Perform project management including budgeting, scheduling, and client satisfaction.
• Serve as a testifying expert on litigation matters involving hydrogeologic assessment and contaminant fate and transport.
• Prepare, review, and certify technical reports and proposals.
• Lead meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties.
• Lead proposal efforts and business development activities.
• Coordinate contractor oversight for remediation projects.
• Drive vehicles to client sites as needed.
