Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Geologist to perform geologic, seismic evaluations and slope stability analyses for water supply, contamination and geotechnical projects in surface and subsurface conditions. You will prepare cross sections, maps, reports, QA/QC, and assist with proposals while collaborating with sales and clients.

A PE license (ASBOG) and 7 years of experience are preferred. Domestic and international travel 20-40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• ASBOG licensure required.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to high complexity geologic/seismic evaluations and slope stability analyses.
• Prepare cross sections, Isoconcentration maps, QA/QC analyses and reports.
• Review and sign off on draft/final reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop subcontractor scope and manage field work as needed.
• Collaborate with sales staff to prepare proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
