Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a professional to perform basic to complex geological, seismic, hydrogeological, and geotechnical evaluations supporting water supply, environmental, contaminant, and geotechnical assessments. You will conduct field investigations, evaluate surface and subsurface conditions, and prepare project documentation in line with regulations and firm standards.

The role requires field support, travel, and adherence to quality processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline; 0 years travel may be required.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and subsurface investigations (logging, sampling, mapping, testing).
• Perform geological, seismic, hydrogeologic, geotechnical analyses and produce QA/QC work.
• Develop draft evaluations in compliance with regulations and firm standards.
• Contribute to technical knowledge through papers, designs, and presentations.
• Coordinate travel and field schedules, including overnight trips.
