Wellesley College is seeking a Senior Groundskeeper to lead campus landscape operations, including golf and athletic field work as assigned. You will perform mowing, planting, pruning, irrigation repairs, and major renovation tasks, while ensuring safety and teamwork for college events year-round.

The role requires ability to operate large and small power equipment, managing irrigation and plant health, with emphasis on IPM.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in turf, horticulture, or related field preferred with recent grounds keeping experience.
• Knowledge of ornamental horticulture, plant ID, and IPM principles.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Massachusetts driver’s license, Hoisting Engineer License, and a Massachusetts Pesticide Applicators License.

Mansioni

• Perform mowing, weeding, planting, pruning and irrigation repairs as part of landscape maintenance.
• Trash/litter removal, major renovation projects, and events support.
• Snow removal and weather-related emergency response as required.
