The Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester, MA is seeking a Facilities Grounds Technician (1st shift) to join our grounds team at the corporate offices. This full-time, non-exempt role requires strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to maintain a high-end turf and landscape across the campus.

Responsibilities include operating grounds equipment, performing preventive maintenance, applying pesticides per regulations, and supporting seasonal staff while ensuring safety and quality standards

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in horticulture, landscape maintenance, or golf course maintenance.
• MA pesticide license required; MA 2B/1C hoisting license or ability to obtain in 90 days.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with insurable driving history.

Aufgaben

• Operate hand and power tools used in grounds maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mowers, trimmers, and equipment.
• Complete zone maintenance tasks per Grounds Zone Maintenance Plan.
• Apply pesticides per program and regulatory requirements.
• Operate major grounds equipment (trucks, tractors, snow plows, etc.).
• Keep walks and stairs free of snow and ice.
• Maintain and repair commercial irrigation systems.
