Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a grounds maintenance supervisor to plan, oversee, and perform grounds operations, including mowing, trimming, tree work, and mulching. You will manage labor hours, material purchases, and coordinate with vendors to keep the grounds safe and attractive.

The role requires leadership, strong environmental knowledge, and ability to supervise staff, train, hire, and evaluate performance. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ leadership experience
• 3+ leadership/management experience (preferred)
• 5+ years in a related field
• 7+ years in a related field (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Plans, oversees, and performs grounds maintenance operations (mowing, trimming, horticultural work, tree work, leaf removal, mulching).
• Monitors and manages the grounds budget for labor hours and material purchases.
• Coordinates with vendors and staff to schedule tasks and ensure compliance with standards.
• Trains and supervises grounds staff, enforcing safety protocols.
• Maintains records of maintenance, expenses, and equipment usage.
